III. Processing of personal data by Müller Medien
Below, we would like to give you an overview of how we ensure the protection of your personal data when you access our website, and what types of personal data we process, for what purposes and to what extent.
1. Processing of data when accessing our website – log files
When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This may also be done by service providers commissioned and controlled by us (walls.io, Google). This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider and similar information. In addition, the IP address is transmitted and used to provide the service you have requested. In accordance with our IT security concept, the log file data is stored for a period of two weeks in order to detect and analyse any attacks against our website. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
2. Processing of data when using the website – your enquiries
If you send us an enquiry by e-mail or via the contact form, we will collect the data you provide for the purpose of processing and responding to your enquiry and for further contact with you. We store this information for verification purposes for a period of up to two years. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 letter f GDPR and our legitimate interest in processing your contact enquiries and contacting you.
3. Chatbot
We have integrated a chatbot into our website that can assist you with initial questions and help you find information on our website. If you initiate communication via the chat, we collect the data you provide, including the chat transcript, for the purpose of processing and responding to your request and questions. We store this information for verification purposes for a period of up to 3 months. For this purpose, we use the services of Druid SA, Opera Centre, Costache Negri Street, No. 1-5, 6th floor, 5th District, Bucharest, Romania, a service provider commissioned and controlled by us. If you access the chatbot via the icon at the bottom right of the screen, we set a cookie to maintain the conversation with you within the session even as you continue to browse our website. You can reset the conversation within the chatbot at any time. To do this, simply click on the gear icon in the chat window. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 letter f GDPR and our legitimate interest in offering you a simple and quick way to answer your questions and make it easier to navigate and find information on our website.
5. Use of a cookie consent platform
On our website, we use the consent management platform provided by OneTrust, a service provider commissioned and controlled by us. This web service is our cookie consent management system. We use it to block cookies, collect the necessary consent from our users for setting cookies, enable you to revoke your consent, document the consent given and revoked, and correctly assign it to you as a user. To correctly assign the respective users, OneTrust processes a corresponding ID that is generated via a cookie. We store this website ID for a period of 12 months, after which your data is deleted.

Our website uses a web service provided by Hotjar Limited, St. Julians Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St. Julians STJ 3155, Malta (‘Hotjar’), which we have commissioned and control. This web service enables us to evaluate user behaviour using heat maps in order to continuously improve our website and make it more user-friendly. For this purpose, we will process usage data from you during the session with the help of Hotjar, such as, in particular, the name of your internet service provider, information about the device you are using (type of device, operating system, screen resolution, language, country and browser type), the website from which you came to our website, which parts of our website you visited, the time and duration of your visit to our website, and your IP address. With regard to the IP address, it is anonymised before being transmitted to Hotjar by truncating the last 8 characters of your IP address. We store this data for a period of 365 days; after this period, the data is deleted.

The evaluation of the collected data is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in better understanding the user behaviour on our website in order to optimise our website. Contentsquare
Our website uses a web service provided by Contentsquare Inc., 60 Hudson Street, Suite 1803, New York, NY 10013, United States (“Contentsquare”). This web service enables us to analyse user behaviour using heatmaps, surveys, etc., in order to continuously improve our website and make it more user-friendly. In addition, the Contentsquare web service helps us diagnose technical issues and enables us to resolve them. For this purpose, we will process usage data from you during the session with the help of Contentsquare, including in particular the name of your internet service provider, information about the device you are using (type of device, operating system, screen resolution, language, country and browser type), the website from which you arrived at our website, which parts of our website you visited, the time and duration of your visit to our website, and your IP address.Contentsquare uses the IP address solely to determine your approximate location (city-level geolocation) and to filter out unwanted traffic; it is then completely deleted from Contentsquare’s systems.
We store data for a period of up to 13 months; after this, the data is deleted.
